Bellview Baptist Church was organized in 1905 from a mission sponsored by Lone Oak Baptist Church. Its first building was a house built in 1906 on the site of our present educational facility. A new sanctuary was built on this site in 1949. In 1967 the sanctuary was remodeled into classrooms and a newer auditorium was erected which would seat over 600 people. Several renovation projects have been completed in the years since then, including a new fellowship hall and gym in 1980 and a children’s building in 2007.

Bellview has a long and strong history of evangelistic emphasis and missionary zeal. Through crusades, revivals, special evangelistic events and mission projects both in the United States and around the world, Bellview members have carried the Gospel of Christ to many hundreds of thousands of precious souls through the years. Even now, there are regularly scheduled mission projects, evangelistic crusades and other witnessing opportunities in which the membership is encouraged to participate.

Bellview has had 15 pastors in its history of over one hundred years. Each one was gifted in his unique way to shepherd this local body of believers in Christ.  You are warmly invited to study the Bible and to worship with us this Sunday!
